Suzanne Paquette

Suzanne Paquette is an artist who has been creating and exhibiting for 5 decades. Born in Canada, she attended the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and in 1981 moved to San Antonio Texas where she continues her studio practice. Paquette’s Art is informed by a lifelong interest in the natural sciences and more recently by environmental concerns. She enjoys working in the multiple disciplines of painting, drawing, printmaking and installation.

Paquette has exhibited in 16 solo and numerous group shows in Canada and the United States. She has been honored with several awards including a Canada Council Art Grant, Nova Scotia Travel Grant to exhibit at The Canadian Embassy Art Gallery in London, a M-AA/NEA Fellowship and Awards of Merit. Paquette is also privileged to have her artwork in museum, corporate and private collections. Reviews and articles about Paquette’s work have been printed in World Sculpture News, Sculpture Magazine, Art Lies, Voices of Art and Ceramics Monthly.
