The Living Edge: Contemporary Craft in Texas

April 9th - June 18th

This interdisciplinary exhibition traces the deep roots and living edge of craft in San Antonio, bringing together artists who stretch traditional materials and methods while foregrounding the intelligence of the hand: how making becomes meaning. Featuring Leo Barrios, Sarah Sauer, Casey Galloway, Alejandro Sifuentes, Diana Kersey, and Margaret Craig, and their work across textiles, wood, metal, ceramics, and hybrid media, the exhibition considers craft not only as a set of techniques, but as a way of knowing: a form of embodied knowledge developed through touch, repetition, and sustained engagement with material.
