YuEun Gemma Kim, violin

Originally from South Korea, YuEun Gemma Kim is an award-winning violinist who concertizes internationally as a soloist and chamber musician on both modern and baroque instruments and has a YouTube channel boasting millions of views (her Chopin Nocturne has over 26 million views!).

A graduate of USC, where she studied with Midori Goto, YuEun is one of the founders of MusiKaravan and a core member of Delirium Musicum. She was part of their Warner Classics debut album, Seasons, as well as their second album, Cabinet of Curiosities. She is a recipient of the Jeffrey Thomas Award from American Bach Soloists. This season, she’s making solo appearances with The Chamber Orchestra at St. Matthew’s, SeongNam Symphony in Korea, Lake Arrowhead Orchestra, and American Bach Soloists.

She also rocks out with Yu&I, her boundary-pushing violin-guitar duo with Ines Thomé.
